Free Mental Health Workshop and Florida PTA Town Hall

At the invitation of Florida PTA President, Carolyn Nelson-Goedert,  DCCPTA is serving on the planning committee for Florida PTA’s upcoming Educational Town Hall to be held in Jacksonville. The goal of the event is to gather stakeholders to participate in a conversation on how best to ensure student achievement as we prepare our District’s students for success in a global economy. About The Right Foot Award A special award is presented to PTAs that complete important tasks to get your PTA off to a good start. Nominations for the Right Foot Award are now open and are due November 1st! Documents Needed To Complete Your Nomination A completed Right Foot Award application A copy of your audit Current board roster including contact information A copy of your budget Meeting minutes from the meeting where your budget was passed Your application can not be considered complete unless all documents are submitted via email by the November 1st deadline. Compliance Checklist At A Glance Below is a list of tips on how to keep your local PTA unit in good standing. Reviewing the compliance sheet here to ensure you are meeting all standards Registering your officers with Florida PTA here.  Remember, elections must be held annually.
